Yves Saint Laurent to Open Chicago Store
December 11, 2012
Paris-based Yves Saint Laurent will open a new store in Chicago in fall 2013, according to www.wwd.com. The luxury brand has signed a lease for a 2,375-sq.-ft. store at the Waldorf Astoria hotel located at E. Walton and Rush streets. The new boutique will be part of a ground-floor retail condominium at the hotel, which opened earlier this year. This store will be the retailer’s first freestanding store to operate in Chicago since its store on Oak Street closed in 2010.
