Target to Open New California Stores

Minneapolis-based Target Corp. plans to open two new stores in California. The new stores, slated to open in March 2014, will be located in Fresno and Rocklin, Calif. The new 140,000-sq.-ft. Fresno store, located on North Riverside Drive, will be part of the Marketplace at El Paseo shopping center. The new Rocklin store will be part of the Rocklin Commons shopping center and will be approximately 136,000 sq. ft. Both locations will include a selection of fresh produce, fresh packaged meat and prepackaged baked goods, as well as a Starbucks and a Target Pharmacy. Currently, Target operates 1,832 stores, including 1,784 in the United States and 48 in Canada.
