Nespresso Opens San Francisco Boutique
December 07, 2012
Lusanne, Switzerland-based Nespresso has opened its first West Coast boutique bar in San Francisco. The bi-level, 7,400-sq.-ft. boutique is located in Union Square and boasts a warm, contemporary atmosphere. Designed by Italian architect Aldo Parisotto and Futurebrand Paris, the unit features a “discovery ring” area where customers can learn about the product and sign up for tutorial sessions with coffee specialists, as well as an “N Pad Bar” with iPads available for guests to use, loaded with information on the brand and interesting facts. The San Francisco location is the first of many Nespresso plans to roll out on the West Coast, and marks the company’s fifth boutique, joining the company’s other stores in New York, Miami, and Boston. A sixth boutique is slated to open in Los Angeles in fall 2013.
