Mattress Firm to Open First West Coast Stores

Houston-based Mattress Firm Holding Corp. will debut on the West Coast in April, according to Furniture Today. The company plans to open three 5,000-sq.-ft. stores in Spokane, Wash. The stores, which will be located on North Division Street, East Sprague Avenue and North Newport Highway, will feature the retailer’s “Comfort by Color” concept, which allows customers to browse and compare merchandise based on mattress comfort level color-coding system.
