Impressions Marketing Group Becomes Part of idX
May 08, 2013
St. Louis-based idX Corp. has signed an agreement to add Impressions Marketing Group’s capabilities to its portfolio. Current President and CEO Rick Gerber founded Lorton, Va.-based Impressions in 1981 as a graphics company. He later expanded it into a custom-fixture and décor business. The company’s graphics and specialty woodworking are housed at an 110,000-sq.-ft. Virginia facility. In Washington, N.C., a 400,000-sq.-ft. plant specializes in high-production panel processing, producing stock, semi-custom, custom and rollout fixtures. The company also operates an account management and distribution facility in Stockton, Calif. Gerber and Impressions’ Management Information System Director, Terry Phillips, will assume key management roles with the new division, with specifics still to be determined. Dave Mueller, executive vice president and general manager of idX Dayton, also will assume a management role in the division, in addition to his current responsibilities.
