HBC Announces Changes in Executive Structure
June 24, 2013

Toronto-based Hudson’s Bay Co., owner of Hudson’s Bay, Home Outfitters and Lord & Taylor, recently announced changes to its executive structure. Bonnie Brooks, previously president of Hudson’s Bay Co., has been appointed vice chairman, and Liz Rodbell, previously executive vice president, chief merchant, will become president. Both Brooks and Rodbell will report to Richard Baker, chairman and CEO of Hudson’s Bay Co. The transition will be completed by the company’s year-end in January 2014. In her new role, Brooks also will act in an advisory capacity to Baker and the company’s board of directors. She will continue to provide input into both the Hudson's Bay and Lord & Taylor businesses. Rodbell was appointed executive vice president, chief merchant, of Hudson's Bay in February 2012. She led the merchant integration of the Lord & Taylor and Hudson's Bay banners, and successfully drove a repositioning of the buying group.
