McLean Named COO of Urban Outfitters' European Brands

Philadelphia-based Urban Outfitters Inc. has named Andrew McLean, the president of Liz Claiborne's outlet division, as chief operating officer for its European divisions. He will be responsible for all European shared-service operations--including finance, logistics, development and talent acquisition--for the Anthropologie and Urban Outfitters retail brands, as well as the Free People and Leifsdottir wholesale brands. McLean has been with Liz Claiborne Inc. since 2003. Prior to that, he was senior director and controller at Gap Inc.
