Nokia Opens Second Online Music Store

Cell phone maker Nokia opened an online music store in Germany, the second of its kind for the company, according to Reuters.com. Nokia plans to open the online music stores in nine more countries by mid-2008. The German music store will charge 1 euro or $1.52 per song. Nokia debuted its first online music store last November in the United Kingdom. The company plans to open the online music store in seven more European countries, including France, Italy, Spain, along with stores in Australia and Singapore, by the end of the first half of 2008. Nokia also said it will expand further in Europe and Asia in the second part of the year.
