DDI Announces Atlantic Station Holiday Window Winners 2007
November 30, 2007
DDI magazine's editors and guest judges have named the winners of this year's holiday window competition at Atlantic Station, a mixed-use lifestyle center in Atlanta's Midtown neighborhood. The judging for the third-annual holiday windows contest took place on Nov. 27, and included judges RoxAnna Sway, DDI; Alison Embrey Medina, DDI; Pat Ulicny, Design Works; and Kathleen Socha, Phase One Design Inc. Windows were judged on the following criteria: originality and creativity; captures the spirit of the season, entertains and delights; and professionalism, execution and technical aspects. First place was awarded to The Grape, whose innovative window featured a creative construction of Santa and his reindeer--made from wine bottles and corks. "The Grape showed originality and thoughtfulness," Sway said. "It was related to and celebrated the product--very clever." Second place went to Z Gallerie, while third place was awarded to Bath & Body Works. An honorable mention went to Publix. See photos of the winners below.
