Polo Ralph Lauren to Debut Istanbul Boutique

In October, New York-based Polo Ralph Lauren Corp. plans to open its first standalone Polo Ralph Lauren boutique in Istanbul, Turkey, according to Dnrnews.com. The 6,500-sq.-ft. store will be located in luxury shopping complex Istinye Park and will offer an assortment of apparel and accessories. Brands will include Purple Label, Black Label and Polo for men, as well as the women's Collection, Black Label and Blue Label ranges. Polo Ralph Lauren has partnered with Turkish company Unitim for the venture. Design features of the boutique include a facade of stone columns and pilasters, wrought-iron gate, limestone floors, stucco walls, mahogany millwork, heirloom silver, antique furniture and fine art.
