Kwik Trip to Make Chain-Wide Renovations
July 06, 2009
La Crosse, Wis.-based Kwik Trip Inc. is making chain-wide renovations to its stores, according to CSPnet.com. The convenience store chain will shift its focus to fresh food and will incorporate soft colors and new lighting, giving the store a more upscale atmosphere. "The traditional c-store demographic has been 'Bubba,’" said John McHugh, manager of corporate communications and leadership development at Kwik Trip. "We're hoping to attract the soccer moms." The company’s new design includes an expanded coffee bar, placement of fresh goods at the front of the store, and graphics in earth tones and eye-pleasing colors to give the store a cleaner look. Kwik Trip currently operates 354 locations in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa.
