FFR-DSI Opens New Facility
November 09, 2009
Retail merchandiser FFR-DSI, Inc. announced the opening of its new facility in Twinsburg, Ohio. The company is touting it as “state of the art” with the latest office and warehouse technology, as well as a sustainable focus.
The 257,000 sq. ft. building will house 166 employees, who will be moving from the company’s existing facilities in the Cleveland suburbs of Solon and Oakwood Village before the end of the year. The interior design was done by the Cleveland-based firm Interior Focus, while Arkinetics handled the architectural work.
“Our new Twinsburg facility will provide a major boost to our operations,” said FFR-DSI president and CEO Stan Burson in a statement. “By having all our northeast Ohio employees in one place, and supporting them with the appropriate tools, we will be able to more efficiently provide high-impact retail merchandising solutions to our customers around the world.”
The new facility will include a design center where FFR-DSI can work with customers on realistic concept testing, new product development, and store plan-o-gram and set design. Advanced audio-visual and wireless Internet capabilities are among the technologies incorporated into the building’s design.
