Fresh & Easy to Open 10 New Stores in Las Vegas

El Segundo, Calif.-based Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market Inc. announced plans to open 10 new locations throughout Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Business Press. The new stores will open in former Rite Aid locations and will be located at Charleston Boulevard and Sloan Lane; Tropicana Avenue and Nellis Boulevard; Desert Inn Road and McLeod Drive; Lake Mead and Hollywood boulevards; Las Vegas Boulevard and Pecos Road; Eastern Avenue and Wigwam Parkway; Eastern Avenue and Fremont Street; Vegas Drive and Jones Boulevard; Vegas and Buffalo drives; and Las Vegas and Lake Mead boulevards. The stores will also feature prepared meals, fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as national and private-label brands. Currently, there are 11 Las Vegas Fresh & Easy Markets in operation. According to the company, it plans to open 150 additional stores throughout the United States in 2008.
