Tween Brands Announces Resignation of President, COO

New Albany, Ohio-based Tween Brands Inc. announced Monday the resignation of Kenneth T. Stevens, president, COO and secretary, effective June 27, 2008. Tween Brands Chairman and CEO Mike Rayden said the retailer will eliminate the president and COO positions because, according to Stevens, "the business was not evolving in a manner that required a chief operating officer at this time." Tween Brands is a specialty retailer for children ages 7 to 14.
