Barriscale Design Studio Announces New Hires

San Francisco-based Barriscale Design Studio (BDS) announced the addition of Scott Butcher and Maureen Martin. Butcher brings more than 20 years of extensive retail design and project management experience to BDS and has held long-term positions as a senior store designer at Macy’s West and as a senior store designer/ project manager at DFS Group Ltd., a division of LVMH, Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton. As director, project management, store design at BDS, Scott will be responsible for project delivery services. Martin has 30 years of extensive retail experience as a store planner, designer and design manager for Macy’s and Bloomingdales. Most recently, Martin was the senior store design director at Macy’s West, where she has been the creative director for the divisional store design, planning and construction group. As senior director of store design at BDS, Martin will be responsible for overall project store planning and design direction.
