Buddha-Bar Hotel To Open in Prague
August 19, 2008
The Buddha-Bar Hotels & Resorts Group has announced plans to open a new five-star hotel in Prague. Located close to Prague's Old Town Square, Buddha-Bar Hotel Prague will feature two "eatertainment" venues, a 250-seat Buddha-Bar and a 100-seat Siddharta-Cafe. The hotel operators, CPI Hotels and J&T Group, plan the grand opening for the last quarter of 2008. Featuring luxury rooms and suites and its well-known giant sitting Buddha in the bar and lounge, the hotel will feature contemporary Oriental interiors with a French Colonial influence. Architect Zbysek Styblo and Gama architectural studio participated on the project. New hotels are scheduled to open at a later date in Panama, the Dominican Republic, Paris, New York, Marakech, Morocco; Budapest, Hungary; and Sal Hasheesh, Egypt.
