QKL Stores Opens Three Stores in China

Daqing, China-based QKL Stores Inc., the leading regional supermarket chain in Northeast China, has announced the opening of three new supermarkets in the fourth quarter of 2009. The three stores--located in Datong, Heilongjiang; Zhalaiteqi, Inner Mongolia; and Nong'an, Jilin--bring the company's total supermarket/hypermarket store count to 34, in addition to two department stores. QKL Stores sell a broad selection of merchandise, including groceries, fresh food and non-food items, through its retail supermarkets, convenience stores and department stores.
