American Apparel Opens New Store in Cherry Hill Mall
November 17, 2009
Los Angeles-based clothing manufacturer American Apparel has opened a new store in Cherry Hill, N.J. The 3,100-sq.-ft. store is on the first floor of the Cherry Hill Mall, which is newly renovated and has undergone significant expansion. The new location features American Apparel's collection of basic T-shirts, sweatshirts and underwear, as well as the company's new product categories designed for the upcoming winter season, including coats, thermals and accessories such as hats and gloves. "New Jersey has been a promising market for American Apparel expansion," said Marsha Brady, a creative director for American Apparel. "Not only has the geography of the state provided some wonderful mall opportunities with Short Hills and Menlo Park, but the proximity of Hoboken to New York City and Cherry Hill to Philadelphia will let American Apparel reach a commuting customer on their way to and from work. We've set ourselves up to touch on the personalities of these markets and we think we can meet the critical and growing needs they have."
