J.C. Penney, Kohl's Voted Tops for Customer Service

Nordstrom, Kohl's and J.C. Penney are a few of the favored retailers among customers, according to the annual National Retail Federation (NRF) Foundation/American Express Customers' Choice survey. Conducted by the NRF Foundation with BIG Research, the survey drew on over 8,500 shopper responses about which brands provide the best customer service.
According to shoppers, the top 10 retailers for customer service, in alphabetical order, are: 1. Amazon.com 2. Coldwater Creek 3. HSN 4. J.C. Penney 5. Kohl's Department Stores 6. Lands' End 7. LL Bean 8. Nordstrom 9. Overstock.com 10. QVC
The rank of each retailer will be announced at the NRF's Annual Retail Industry Luncheon on Jan. 12, 2010, during NRF's 99th Annual Convention and EXPO. The complete list of retailers that shoppers selected as having the best customer service will also be released at that time.
