CityCenter Reveals First Retailers for The Crystals
July 18, 2008
CityCenter, a joint venture between MGM Mirage and Dubai World in Las Vegas, has revealed the first of the luxury retailers and dining establishments that will have locations inside The Crystals, a 500,000-sq.-ft. retail, entertainment and dining district. When it opens in late 2009, The Crystals will combine architecture and design with exclusive offerings from elite brands. Luxury retailers at The Crystals will include Louis Vuitton, Tiffany & Co., de Grisogono, Ermenegildo Zegna, H. Stern, Marni, Mikimoto, Roberto Coin, Rolex Presented by Hyde Park and Tourbillon. Master Chef Wolfgang Puck will open two innovative new restaurant concepts within The Crystals. The first will be a contemporary interpretation of a traditional French brasserie with tastes of the Mediterranean region. The second, known as the Wolfgang Puck "Pods," will be centrally located on the Crystals staircase. Additionally, Innovative Dining Group (IDG) will bring a new version of Katana, its sushi and Robatayaki concept, to CityCenter. "At The Crystals, we've joined two preeminent architects--Studio Daniel Libeskind and David Rockwell--to create an international gathering place that combines art, design and experience," said Bobby Baldwin, president and CEO of CityCenter.
