Family Dollar Names EVP, Strategy and Marketing
October 10, 2008

Matthews, N.C.-based Family Dollar Stores Inc. announced that it has promoted Dorlisa K. Flur to the position of executive vice president--strategy and marketing. Flur joined Family Dollar in 2004 as senior vice president--strategy and business development. Prior to joining Family Dollar, Flur served as a principal with the global management consulting firm McKinsey and Co.
