Best Buy Opens Store in Bronx, N.Y.

Richfield, Minn.-based Best Buy Co. Inc. will open its first Bronx, N.Y.-area store on Nov. 15. The 30,000-sq.-ft. store will be the first consumer electronics store of its kind in the Bronx. The store is centrally located between three colleges and four high schools in order to service the technology needs of the local community. As part of the grand opening celebration, Best Buy will present a total of $10,000 to two local non-profit organizations--The Pointe and The Wildcat Service Corp.
