Potbelly Sandwich Works Appoints Former Sears Exec
June 23, 2008

Chicago-based Potbelly Sandwich Works announced that Aylwin B. Lewis has joined the company as its president and CEO. Founder and former CEO Bryant Keil will continue in his role as chairman of the board of directors. Most recently, Lewis served as CEO and president of Sears Holdings. Prior to his role as CEO at Sears Holdings, he served as the president and CEO of both Kmart and Sears retail. Lewis was also president, chief multi-branding and operating officer of YUM! Brands Inc. from 2000 until October 2004, and the COO of Pizza Hut from 1996 to 2000. Lewis is also a member of the board of directors of The Walt Disney Co. Potbelly Sandwich Works has more than 200 stores in 13 states.
