Hilton Opens 11 New Hampton Properties

Beverly Hills, Calif.-based Hilton Hotels Corp. announced the opening of 11 new Hampton Inn and Hampton Inn & Suites properties. The new hotels are located in Alabama, California, Connecticut, Florida, Ohio, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Rhode Island and two locations in Alberta, Canada. In addition, the company plans to open four new Hampton hotels by year-end in 2009. Currently, there are 23 Hampton hotels in North America. Hilton Hotels Corp. operates more than 3,000 properties in 76 countries under the Hilton, Conrad, Doubletree, Embassy Suites Hotels, Hampton Inn, Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Hilton Grand Vacations, Homewood Suites by Hilton, and The Waldorf-Astoria brands.
