P&G to Open Tide-Branded Dry Cleaning Stores

Cincinnati-based Procter & Gamble Co. (P&G) plans to open Tide-branded dry cleaning stores in the Kansas City, Mo., area, according to the Kansas City Business Journal. P&G will test the concept by opening a store in Leawood and rebranding two stores in Overland Park. Kansas City-based GreenEarth Cleaning LLC will provide technology and expertise for the concept, which is one of the reasons why P&G chose to launch the concept in the Kansas City area. The three dry cleaning stores will open on Sept. 4.
