New Best Buy CEO to Begin Post
June 24, 2009
Effective June 24, Brian Dunn will take on his role as the new CEO of Richfield, Minn.-based consumer electronics chain Best Buy Co. Inc., according to the Associated Press. After almost 25 years of experience at Best Buy, Dunn will become the retailer’s third leader during its shareholder meeting today. He will succeed former CEO Brad Anderson, who is retiring. Anderson will stay on the board until 2010.
