Through the ReEntry 2.0 carpet recycling program, reclaimed Type 6,6 yarn is recycled into new yarn to make Zip Stitch. ReEntry 2.0 yarn (25 percent of the face weight) is combined with reclaimed material from "tail outs" (58 percent of the face weight), which is the small cone of yarn that is left over at the end of a production run varying in size from several ounces to a number of pounds. In addition, Zip Stitch also contains 17 percent of hemp/nylon yarn, adding a new dimension to building product. City of Industry, Calif. (800) 423-4709; www.bentleyprincestreet.com.
